Traditional Estonian Cheese is a cylindrical Dutch-type rennet cheese. The best-known quality cheese in Estonia, which has been produced since 1958. Mild, slightly sour taste and smell, full fat and high calcium content. The consistency of the cheese is semi-hard, elastic and easy to slice, unevenly distributed with individual 3-5 mm diameter oval or round holes. No animal rennet is used in the production, suitable for vegetarians. It is recommended to keep the cheese at room temperature for at least 30min before serving.
